Liberty, MO, June 6, 2017– The Dominos Soccer Club is set to break ground on a Club Training Center to be located in North Kansas City, MO.

Dominos SC will be the first youth soccer club in the Northland to have a dedicated training center for all its players. The club has partnered with John Miller, who owns the historic property to be used for the project located at 1427 Howell.  Standard Steel Works was the primary tenant for decades dating back to the 1920s and prior to World War II, building bi-planes on the site. In the 1940s they built parts for tanks used by our troops during the war. Dominos SC is working to preserve and accent that blue collar history in the design of their new Training Center. The project is scheduled to be completed by September.

With both indoor and outdoor training fields, players will have access to over 38,000 square feet of individual and team training space year round. The Training Center will also have a full fitness center and a 2,000 square foot event space that can be used for meetings, events and watch parties.

Dominos SC has also partnered with Boost Sports Performance on the project. Boost will have a space in the building dedicated to athlete development training and physical therapy. All members of the Training Center will have access to free injury evaluations conducted by Boost therapists. If required, they can also have their physical therapy on site as well.

Another unique feature is that all players in the club automatically have family memberships as part of their club fees. So, while players train, their family members can work out in the fitness center or utilize the event space.

“Having a training center that can be used 365 days a year will give our players the edge they need to improve and be competitive. Not only will players participate in organized training but they will be able to come in any day of the week on their own to work on their skills and/or fitness.” Jacques Tournoy, Dominos Soccer Club Director said. “With a partner like Boost Sports Performance and involving the entire family in the player’s development process, we are creating a training environment like none other in the city.”

The Training Center will have a Youth Development Academy designed for boys and girls U8 and below. This program will be designed to help young players develop skills and a lifetime love of the game. All training sessions and games will be hosted at the Training Center making it very convenient for busy parents.

You don’t have to be a member of Dominos Soccer Club to be a member of the Training Center. Memberships start as low as $45 per month for an individual and $55 for a family. This gives the member full access to the fields, fitness center and event space.

All the facility fields will be turf. The outdoor field will be lighted and will not only be used for Dominos SC team practices but will play host to various youth and adult leagues. The club plans on working with the city of NKC to make the space available for Parks and Rec, the YMCA and other recreational organizations.

Dominos SC also has an outreach program and will be working with various charitable organizations to host programs for those deserving members of the community who could otherwise not afford to take advantage of the features the new Training Center has to offer.
